SKIIP Terms of Use
Effective Date: May 31, 2026
Welcome to SKIIP.
SKIIP is a web-based ordering platform designed for live events. We help attendees browse menus, place orders, pay digitally, and collect food or drinks without spending the event standing in queues.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the SKIIP platform, website, ordering system, and related services ("Platform"). By using SKIIP, placing an order, or accessing the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Who We Are
SKIIP Ltd ("SKIIP", "we", "us", "our") operates a digital ordering and collection platform for live events, festivals, venues, and participating vendors. SKIIP is a technology platform only. SKIIP does not prepare, cook, package, store, or deliver food or beverages. Food and drink products available through the Platform are prepared and fulfilled directly by independent vendors operating at the relevant event.
2. Using SKIIP
You may use SKIIP to browse participating vendors and menus, place food or drink orders, make digital payments, receive order updates or collection notifications, and collect completed orders during participating events.
You agree to use the Platform responsibly and only for lawful purposes. You must not misuse the Platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts, submit fraudulent orders or payments, impersonate another person, or use the Platform in a way that may negatively affect vendors, attendees, or event operations. We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary for operational, safety, security, legal, or abuse-prevention reasons.
3. Event and Platform Availability
SKIIP operates within live event environments. Because of the nature of live events, Platform availability may be affected by venue internet connectivity, mobile network congestion, device limitations, third-party provider outages, operational event conditions, or vendor capacity.
While we aim to provide a smooth and reliable experience, we do not guarantee uninterrupted platform availability or uninterrupted access at all times. SKIIP may temporarily pause ordering, limit ordering availability, suspend menu items, delay notifications, or close ordering where reasonably necessary for operational, safety, technical, or event-management reasons.
4. Orders and Collection
When you place an order through SKIIP, you are placing the order directly with the participating vendor. The vendor is responsible for preparing and fulfilling the order, and you are responsible for collecting the order from the designated collection location.
Once an order has been marked as ready for collection and the customer has been notified through the Platform, the customer is responsible for collecting the order promptly. Orders not collected within twenty (20) minutes of the ready-for-collection notification may be classified as a Late Collection. Due to food quality, freshness, operational, and event-related considerations, orders classified as a Late Collection may not be eligible for a refund, replacement, or credit, except where required by applicable law.
If an order remains uncollected for an extended period, SKIIP and the vendor reserve the right to dispose of, reallocate, or otherwise deal with the order where reasonably necessary for food safety, hygiene, operational, or event management purposes.
Collection may be verified through order numbers, phone numbers, timestamps, vendor confirmation, or other operational records. SKIIP may rely on such records as evidence that an order was collected.
Customers are responsible for verifying that the order collected matches their order confirmation before leaving the collection area where reasonably possible. Issues reported after leaving the collection area may be more difficult to verify and resolve.
SKIIP facilitates digital ordering and collection but does not guarantee immediate preparation, priority preparation, or queue-free collection. Preparation and collection times remain subject to vendor capacity and event conditions.
5. Food, Allergens, and Vendor Responsibility
Participating vendors are solely responsible for food preparation, ingredients, allergen information, food safety, hygiene, licensing compliance, and fulfillment of customer orders.
If you have allergies or dietary requirements, you should contact the vendor directly before ordering where necessary. While vendors may provide allergen or product information through the Platform, SKIIP does not independently verify vendor-supplied menu content or allergen information.
6. Payments
Payments made through SKIIP are processed through secure third-party payment providers, including Stripe. By placing an order, you authorize payment for the order value, any applicable taxes, and any clearly disclosed service or processing fees. SKIIP does not store full payment card details.
Payment processing availability may occasionally be affected by banking provider delays, payment processor outages, fraud reviews, verification requirements, or connectivity issues outside SKIIP's control.
7. Refunds and Customer Support
Refund requests relating to incorrect items, missing items, food quality, allergens, or vendor preparation issues may require review directly with the vendor responsible for the order. SKIIP may assist in facilitating customer support and communication where reasonably necessary.
SKIIP reserves the right to issue refunds, credits, or order adjustments where reasonably appropriate to protect customer experience, address duplicate transactions, resolve technical issues, or maintain platform trust. Refund decisions may depend on vendor confirmation, platform records, payment processing status, and operational circumstances relating to the event.
Refunds will not ordinarily be provided for orders classified as a Late Collection under Section 4, including where a customer fails to collect an order within twenty (20) minutes of receiving a ready-for-collection notification, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
Menu availability is subject to change. Participating vendors may occasionally sell out of products, ingredients, or menu items after an order is placed. Where an item becomes unavailable, the vendor or SKIIP may offer a substitute, partial refund, full refund, or other reasonable resolution.
In assessing refund requests or order disputes, SKIIP may rely upon platform records, payment records, vendor preparation records, collection records, timestamps, communication logs, and other operational data. Such records may be treated as evidence of the relevant transaction and collection activity
CUSTOMER CONDUCT
Users must not engage in abusive, threatening, aggressive, discriminatory, or inappropriate behaviour toward event staff, vendors, venue personnel, or SKIIP representatives. Access to the Platform may be restricted or terminated where such behaviour occurs.
INTOXICATED CUSTOMERS
Vendors reserve the right to refuse collection, service, or provision of products where required by law or where a customer appears intoxicated, aggressive, abusive, or otherwise presents a safety concern. Refund eligibility in such circumstances shall be determined at SKIIP's and/or the vendor's reasonable discretion and subject to applicable law.
DEVICE AND CONNECTIVITY RESPONSIBILITY
Customers are responsible for maintaining access to the device used to place an order. SKIIP is not responsible for issues arising from lost devices, depleted batteries, damaged devices, lack of network access, or inability to access order confirmations after an order has been placed.
NOTIFICATION DISCLAIMER
Order status updates, SMS/Whatsapp messages, push notifications, emails, and collection alerts are provided as a convenience only. Customers remain responsible for monitoring their order status through the Platform. SKIIP is not liable for delays or failures in third-party notification delivery.
EXPANDED LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
SKIIP shall not be liable for loss of enjoyment, missed performances, missed event experiences, travel costs, accommodation costs, indirect losses, or consequential losses arising from delays, vendor issues, collection delays, or platform interruptions.
8. Customer Accounts and Notifications
You may be asked to provide limited information when placing orders, including your name, contact information, and optional mobile number for notifications. You are responsible for ensuring your information is accurate.
Where mobile notifications are enabled, message delivery may depend on third-party mobile providers. Delays or failures may occasionally occur, and SKIIP does not guarantee message delivery timing.
9. Data and Privacy
SKIIP processes limited personal information necessary to operate the Platform and fulfill customer orders. This may include customer names, order information, optional mobile numbers, payment-related records, and usage analytics. Our use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
By using SKIIP, you acknowledge that certain information may be shared with participating vendors where reasonably necessary to fulfill your order.
10. Intellectual Property
The SKIIP platform, branding, logos, software, systems, and content remain the intellectual property of SKIIP Ltd unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform without prior written permission.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SKIIP shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Platform, including loss of enjoyment, missed event experiences, or inconvenience resulting from delays or interruptions.
SKIIP is not responsible for food preparation or quality, allergen issues, vendor fulfillment failures, event cancellations, venue connectivity issues, or third-party infrastructure failures outside SKIIP's reasonable control.
SKIIP's total liability relating to any single order or transaction shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is not permitted by law.
12. Event Disruption and Force Majeure
SKIIP shall not be responsible for delays, interruptions, or inability to provide services caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, event cancellation, crowd safety incidents, internet outages, mobile network congestion, power failures, government action, or third-party service disruptions.
13. Changes to the Platform
We may update, modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Platform from time to time where reasonably necessary for operational improvements, security, compliance, testing, or platform development.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising in relation to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
